High-Impact Practices (HIPs) are learning experiences such as Study Abroad which take place outside the classroom and contribute to student success. Compact Scholars Program students are encouraged to participate in at least two HIPs before their senior year at SDSU.

Each year, SDSU students can learn more about all HIPs at the annual Be HIP Conference.
